we have > 500 computers with 500 GB hard drives and I noticed that most are filling up at an alarming rate. the culprit was the Intel(R) Management and Security Application Local Management Service (lms.exe) is creating a log file
%systemroot%\sysWOW64\gms.log.
I cannot find how to configure the log file or the service to limit the growth of the file. I had to disable the Intel(R) Management and Security Application Local Management Service, then delete the file.
My question is, what is this service logging and why and why does it fill up the hard drive? here is a small snipet from the log as it appears to be connect to ports:
